Ribtec manufactures several grades of stainless steel fiber for reinforcing castable refractories. The fibers are manufactured using a rapid solidified casting process known as melt extraction. This unique process produces products with superior oxidation and corrosion resistance compared to conventionally manufactured fiber products.
