Reno Refractories, Inc. began operation in 1976 at its current location in Morris, AL. Today, Reno Refractories, Inc. is a leader in the refractory industry. We have a complete line of products to satisfy our customers demand. Reno Refractories, Inc. manufactures a wide range of refractory specialties including products designed with the No Cement (Sol Gel) Technology for applications in all industries. Some of the advantages using No Cement Products are Reduced Pore Size, Increase Hot Strength, excellent Resistance to Thermal Shock and Alkali Attack, plus quicker Dry-outs. The Company was also the first to patent and install a Low Cement Shot-Crete in 1993 at AK Steel, Ashland, KY. We have a state of the art Precast Shape facility that offers our customers dried and fired shapes for all your needs. We also have a Service Group that is available for technical assistance during installations to ensure products are mixed and installed correctly.
