Since our inception in 1965, Hotwork's crews have performed refractory dryouts for hundreds of clients at thousands of job sites on six continents. Our specialty is performing fuel-fired dryouts and heatups of refractory linings in process vessels and furnaces. We can provide these services for small single burner jobs or we can engineer complex firing solutions for entire processes which may involve up to 100 burners.

TYPES OF SERVICES:

Hotwork is the pioneer of the convective fuel fired heating process, which simplifies refractory dryouts and heatups with portable, proprietary burner equipment. The high velocity burner insures convective heating that accelerates moisture removal and insures uniform heating. The turbulent and convective heating circulates the products of combustion evenly throughout the vessel regardless of size and configuration, resulting in fast, even, moisture removal across the entire refractory lining.

Portable combustion service is our only business. We provide these dryout and heat up services to virtually all hot process industries including glass, coke, steel, cement, HPI, aluminum, power and other non-ferrous metals.
