The company's TECO plant in Greeneville, TN, is a world leader in the production of high-purity fused silica used in investment casting, electronic molding compounds and refractories. This facility provides custom sizing and processing for bauxite, Alpha Star®, brown fused alumina, silicon carbide and other imported minerals.

C-E Minerals Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela operation is a state-of-the-art facility with abundant electrical power and locally available raw material to fuse white alumina and magnesium alumina spinel. Through two joint ventures in China, C-E Minerals brings Alpha Star, a high-alumina, dense, volume stable aggregate product to market for applications ranging from blast furnace troughs and runners to brick and low cement castables. Sized calcined bauxite,Alpha Star® and brown fused alumina are also produced by C-E Minerals' China joint ventures.
