Ribtec manufactures several grades of stainless steel fiber for reinforcing castable refractories. The fibers are manufactured using a rapid solidified casting process known as melt extraction. This unique process produces products with superior oxidation and corrosion resistance compared to conventionally manufactured fiber products. Ribtec stocks several different fiber lengths and diameters to match customer requirements.
